Glossy vs. matte screen. Help me choose?
I recently purchased a Samsung to my computer screen with the following specifications: • Flat-panel LCD • 1680 x 1050 resolution • 300cd/m2 brightness • 20,000:1 contrast ratio • 2-millisecond response • Digital / analog input My problem with that is that there is a bright, and I was very disappointed when I hooked up. My question is whether a bright screen with a coefficient more low contrast (and a response time of 5 ms) would be better than this monitor mate with a high proportion in contrast. Or simply, if the screens are bright advantage in all matte screens. For some personal data, I use my computer primarily for games and movies, so games and graphics in mind. Also, I use a DVI-D if that makes any difference.
I think this is a very good screen for almost anything u should have high contrast and thats a good resolution DVI-D to not make a difference either way
